Overview

Featuring an integrated 17″ LCD monitor, keyboard, and touchpad in a 1U rack-mountable housing, the HT1732 Cat5 LCD KVM over IP Switch is a centralized management solution that enables one local user and one remote user to securely access and control up to 32 computers from a single console.

The HT1732 provides flexible IP-based remote management through a standard web browser or the Kinan kvmCtrlEN client. Supporting TCP/IP communication, HTTPS, and AES encryption, it allows administrators to securely monitor and manage connected servers over a LAN, WAN, or the Internet. BIOS-level access is also available for low-level system configuration and administration, even before the operating system boots.

The LCD KVM switch supports both USB and PS/2 connections for connected computers. An additional HDB15 port allows a local VGA monitor to be connected, while Kinan’s VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort KVM adapter cables provide broad compatibility with servers and computers using different video interfaces.

Deployment is quick and straightforward with no software configuration required. Simply connect the switch and computers using compact RJ-45 interfaces and Cat 5e/6 cables to begin operation. With transmission distances of up to 40 m, the HT1732 offers a reliable and space-saving solution for server rooms, control centers, and other mission-critical IT environments.
